There will be times when you might want to pause a survey. Depending on the distribution channel you selected when launching your survey, you will have different options for pausing a survey.

Pausing a Web survey
To pause a Web survey, in your SatisMeter dashboard navigate to the survey you want to pause.
- When you have selected the survey you want to pause, click the Edit Survey button in the top right.
- When the survey editor screen loads, click the Pause Survey button on the top left of the screen.
- Once clicked, the survey will change from Live to Paused.
Pausing an Email survey
Unlike a Web survey, there is no button to click in the Survey editor to pause a survey being sent out by Email. To pause these kinds of surveys, stop sending them from your dedicated email provider.
Pausing a Public Link survey
Similar to Email surveys, There is a limitation on how to pause publicly shared surveys. To pause a Public link survey, stop sending the link or remove it from wherever your users are clicking on it.
Pausing a Mobile SDK survey
Similar to Web surveys, you can pause a Mobile survey from within your SatisMeter account. To pause a Mobile survey, in your SatisMeter dashboard navigate to the survey you want to pause.
- When you have selected the survey you want to pause, click the Edit Survey button in the top right.
- When the survey editor screen loads, click the Pause Survey button on the top left of the screen.
- Once clicked, the survey will change from Live to Paused.
