How can I pause a survey?

You might want to pause a survey from time to time. Your options for pausing it depend on the channel you selected when launching your survey.

Pausing a web survey

You can pause a web survey from your SatisMeter dashboard like so:

In your SatisMeter dashboard, go to the survey you want to pause.
In the top right, click Edit Survey.
When the survey editor loads, click Pause Survey in the top left.

The survey status changes from Live to Paused.

Pausing an email survey

Unlike a web survey, an email survey has no pause button in the survey editor. To pause an email survey, stop sending it from your email provider.

Pausing a link survey

As with email surveys, you can't pause a link survey from the survey editor. To pause a link survey, stop sending the link or remove it from wherever your users click it.

Pausing a mobile SDK survey

As with web surveys, you can pause a mobile SDK survey from your SatisMeter dashboard like so:

In your SatisMeter dashboard, go to the survey you want to pause.
In the top right, click Edit Survey.
When the survey editor loads, click Pause Survey in the top left.
